It's gotta be September Lil...

Hey, that sounds like a song title.

*Sings*
It's gotta be September Lil,
the winds will blow you where they will,
and if I find your smiling face,
the moon will spill it's vibrant lace.

Happy Autumn full moon day CP! It's overcast/rainy here...but the moon has been looking really cool since this past weekend...like Aqua said...pinkish/orange. It especially caught my attention on Sunday night. I hope I can see it tonight.

They look sort of donut like....I am gonna go to KK and get donuts then wake my kids up and and drag them out to the cowpasture where it's dark so we can get a good view, and eat our mooncakes/donuts. TY CP

LOL - that is a good idea Lilith!!! I have been trying to find something that would ante up the time I woke up the kids at 3:00 a.m. to watch the comets!!!! My kids will definately think I am nuts after grabbing them and making them sit on the ground eating donuts in 40 degree weather to watch the moon! I love it!!! Its all about creating memories.... :D

It was still overcast here last night, so I didn't get to see the moon. I was thinking about it yesterday though, and I think the same "Chinese Autumn Full Moon" is what we call in these parts, "The Harvest Moon". Could be wrong though. There could be another month/moon called that.

Anyway...even though the 28th was the official day...it should be clear enough tonight to get a glimpse.
