?Meaningful?
Wishing my Pixie friends a "Happy" Memorial Day seems a bit of an oxymoron in light of if purpose.  So I guess I'll say a 'Meaningful Memorial Day' to everyone. I thank the families that lost a real person who left them for the duty they believed in to the ultimate degree. I am grateful to every person who lost their life defending what they believed was necessary for others. I do not think anyone answers the bugle for their own betterment.
I also hope that the authority that blows the bugle takes time to reflect today on the tune they are playing.

Then one can always refer to Memorial Day by the alternative name, Rememberance day. And wish others happy memories of those individuals we hope to honor.
