Could it be that gays are more overtly into sex than lesbians? (No - please don't shoot me - it was just a thought.) You know how men are written of as sex-men, so having two of them together, well, it stands to reason....

On the other hand, real lesbians on television seem to be more about politics than sex. Certainly the ones I know don't seem to be troubled by it at all.

So - who wants a television show about the real lives of lesbians? If - as we are led to believe - attractive young gays spend their untroubled lives getting sex in all corners, well, that makes good television, right?
